London Transport double-decker bus A variety of LT vehicles with RTW321, KXW 421, on route 150 taking centre stage. Note the queued up trolleybuses in the background. The location is, as yet, undefined but could possibly be Ilford as that seems to me to be the only place where routes 150, 144 (in another picture) and trolley buses all came together at a single location. Trevor Cobb informs me ...... The location is probably Thorold Road near its junction with Cranbrook Road at Ilford Station. The trolleybuses were possibly going to Stratford. The 150 was going through Barkingside but via Cranbrook Road and Gants Hill. The 144 and 150 started from Iford Station and used to lay over in Thorold Road before the whole area was rebuilt, the trolleybuses went and the buses moved into York Road. This takes one back! A trolleybus and three half-cab buses. The leading bus is RTW123 whilst the neighbour cosying up to it is either an RT or an RTL. My thanks go to Jon Harry for pointing out the differences between the 8' and 7' 6" bodies. There's another RTW visible in the background and that wears the all-over red livery.
