My wife and I got lost whilst on a motoring holiday and stumbled across this vehicle that was in use as a chicken run near Falkland (Fife) in August 1964. Despite its apparent length it was a 4-wheeler and Brian Longworth informs me that it originated with the Wemyss and District Tramways Co Ltd which ran to Leven and that it was one of four cars built by Milnes, Voss with Mountain and Gibson Trucks.

Leeds City Transport
Leeds had three experimental continental-style single-deckers in its tram fleet. No. 600 (depicted here at Thwaite Gate terminus, Hunsle), was unique and originated in Sunderland but saw only 3 years of service in Leeds. It long been resident at Crich Tramway Village but has been out of service for many years with what I believe is a cracked bolster.

On a truly horrible September 1960 early morning in Sheffield I took a couple of 'colour' shots of trams. Here is car 508 at the Vulcan Road terminus in distinctly murky conditions.
