Green liveried RT 3887 on route 362 to Ley Hill. Paul Davis has kindly informed me that the bus is seen turning from Crendon St. into High St. at High Wycombe with the indicator blind set for its return journey even though it hasn't yet reached the starting point of that trip. Vintage bus images don't come much better than this IMHO. August 1951 sees unfrozen STL2664 in becoming green and white livery on route 305A at Beaconsfield with the  Earl of Beaconsfield (Disraeli of course) pub as the backdrop. Originally it was called the Railway Hotel. The pub has now been demolished and has been replaced by a Waitrose. Ther  expanse of green and bus stop are still there but there is no longer a shelter. My thanks go to Paul danbury for the useful local knowledge.

This takes one back! A trolleybus and three half-cab buses. The leading bus is RTW123 whilst the neighbour cosying up to it is either an RT or an RTL. My thanks go to Jon Harry for pointing out the differences between the 8' and 7' 6

Roy Vandersteen suggests that this ensemble was snapped between 11/49 and 5/50 at Halfway House in Enfield.
